Joint International Geoinformation
It is our great pleasure to invite all of you to the joint conference where four conferences meet at one place, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 28 - 30 October 2015. Kuala Lumpur is the city where the first 3D Geoinfo was born in 2006. Thus, year 2015 will be the 10th anniversary for the conference series. We also would like to introduce a brand new conference - International Conference on Geomatic and Geospatial Technology, and the first conference organized by the Geomatic and Land Survey (GLS) Division of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM). GeoAdvances and ISPRS WG 2/11 have been organized by the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) with colleagues from ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) since last few years.
You are invited to submit a full technical paper and extended abstract for the following tracks (3D Geoinfo, Geomatic and Geospatial Science & Technology, GeoAdvances or ISPRS WG 11/2 workshop). All submissions will be subject to double blind review by the programme scientific committee. Accepted full papers for the 3D Geoinfo will be published in Springer Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography (LNGC) series. Accepted papers for Geomatic and Geospatial Technology, GeoAdvances and ISPRS WG 11/2 will be published by ISPRS (SCOPUS indexed). We also encouraged postgraduate students and researchers to submit their on-going works with poster session via extended abstract.
This joint conference also organizes one day tutorials (on 27 October 2015) and industrial talks during the conference day. The planned tutorials and industrial talks are:
- 3D City Modelling
- BIM and GIS
- 3D Cadaster and LADM
- LiDAR and UAV mapping
- Large Point Clouds Data Management
- 3D and 4D Geospatial Database
- 3D Objects Modelling
- 3D GIS
- Geospatial Data Collection
- Recent Trends in Mapping Technology and Related Issues
- Google Experience in 2D and 3D Mapping
- Terrestrial Laser Scanning
- Optimal Topological Data Structure
3D Geoinfo 2015
An interdisciplinary dialogue for leading researchers to present the latest 3D developments and 3D applications, to discuss cutting-edge 3D technology, to exchange research ideas and to promote international collaboration in this field.
The conference is for exploring ongoing research, development and innovative applications on dynamic and multi-dimensional geographic information science and technology and other related applications.
ISPRS WG II/2 Workshop 2015
The WG organize this workshop to exchange the latest development of new methodologies, algorithms and applications related to the representation of n-dimensional spatial data at multiple scales.
This joint conference also organizes one-day tutorials (on 27 October 2015) and industrial talks during the conference day. The planned tutorials and industrial talks includes recent trends in mapping technology and other related issues.
Geomatic and Geospatial Technology 2015
This annual conference aims at bringing together local and international state-of-the-art research and facilitating the dialogue on emerging topics in the field of Geo-information Science and Technology.
